As the other reviewer stated, we had the same problems with the Comfort Star Split unit we purchased. It worked for the first year then the condenser went bad.

Not only did the Comfort Star Customer Service rep hang up on us (!), after 8 phone calls and having service a/c repair techs look at it, they refused to honor the warranty stating they no longer make the unit we purchased.

We incurred over $700 in expenses trying to repair the condenser, over and above the $2,700 we paid for the system and they refuse to honor their warranty. This is the worst and most unprofessional company we have ever dealt with.

Reason of review: Bad quality.

Monetary Loss: $3400.

Preferred solution: Full refund.

ComfortStar Cons: Quality, Customer service, Did not honor warranty.
